Layout planning (double page spread)

Planning the layout for my double page spread

From inspiration from other magazine articles, I decided to try and come up with different layouts for our magazine.

The first layout idea comes from my chosen magazine "Total Film". 

I chose to base my interview layout on the existing one from Total Film magazine to learn the typical and traditional things they included in the magazine interview and to follow their idea.

The second layout I considered using. 

With this layout, I felt like there is not enough space for me to put the text on just one side or if it possible it will need to squeeze them together which surly doesn't look good. I decided to try to fill in all the information in both layouts and see which one is best suited.
