magazine double page spread analysis

I have analysed a double spread article that has been taken from Vibe magazine which is showing an interview with Jay Z, an American rapper and entrepreneur. Vibe magazine is the premier publication and cultural base for hip-hop/R&B music, fashion and entertainment news. One of the main reasons I like this double-page spread is due to how the publisher of Vibe has put the "J" behind the text which really attracts me. I will be analysing this so that when I go to create my article I will have an idea of the graphology, typography, colour palette used and mise en scene.
